Marks & Spencer Launches Official England Football Team Suit

This Thursday 20th May sees the official launch of the England Football team suit launching exclusively in M&S stores.

Official tailor since 2007, Marks & Spencer has created the official FA suit to specifications set by England Manger Fabio Capello. Created though collaboration between Savile Row tailor Timothy Everest MBE and M&S, the team sourced the finest British fabrics and finishes as well as tailor-making each suit to perfectly fit every player. The result is a classic suit which will complement a variety of shapes and sizes and is a wardrobe essential worthy of every football fanatic.

The two-button single breasted jacket is sculpted to a modern British block with sleeve head roll shoulders for a classic fitting, slim silhouette. Additional styling details include narrower lapels, slanted pockets, four button cuffs and a decadent red puppy tooth check lining. Trousers are flat fronted and half lined providing added comfort, superior fit and an elegant modern shape. The four-button waistcoat gives added style kudos and maintains the refined look.

One of the more creative ways to show support for the upcoming 2010 World Cup, comes from adidas with their World Cup Edition Samba sneaker collection.

From Zidane headbutting Materazzi during the final of 2006, Maradonna with his ‘Hand of God’ at Mexico ‘86 and even Pickles (the dog that found the stolen Jules Rimet trophy), theFoot-T range covers the lot.

Tiny Industry hopes that South Africa 2010 will provide further inspiration for the Foot-T range.

Danish label Wood Wood also celebrates the upcoming 2010 World Cup and has released a series of t-shirts representing several countries, including Argentina, France, Germany, Algeria, England and of course South Africa.

Nike recently launched the Nike Sportswear Worldcup Collections, which consisted of artist collaborations with James Jarvis, So Me, Mr. Cartoon, Delta and Kronk, with each artist representing his country.

Now Nike offers the Blazer Hi iD in a limited edition, featuring graphics by these very same artists. Only 500 pairs of each artist’s iD shoe are available.

adidas Originals Games Pack – Trimm Trab “Foosball”

Here is the “Games Pack” presents by adidas Originals. The pack is a series of sneakers based on different types of sports games. This Trimm Trab takes inspiration from table top football games, featuring a green colorway with white accents and neon orange lining.
